COP28

Each month, the Justice Coalition of Religious (JCOR) at the UN sponsors a community hour on the Second Friday of the Month. December’s community hour will focus on health.

The next Community Hour is December 8^th at 9:00 AM EST.

In the lead-up to the International Universal Health Coverage Day, we want to open up a space for discussion about the right to health. Therefore, we especially invite individuals who would like to share their experiences and concerns regarding access to adequate healthcare. As usual, all voices and justice concerns are welcome in this communal space.

It is amazing how COP 28 is being made more accessible to those who could not go in-person to Dubai. We can follow along thanks to Felix Dodd of Arizona State University, who sends the updates each day. 

For the first time, a Faith Pavilion has been designated by the President of COP 28.  Over 77 different faiths are sharing the space and providing various prayer times as well as side events during the COP.
